This week, we discuss the final chapter, Chapter 8, which explores the implications of a global economy on the functioning of basic income. When basic income is implemented at a national level, you then have a global economy in which some people are receiving basic income and some people aren't.

What happens when a basic income is implemented at a level other than the level of the whole economy? Is a basic income sustainable under such a context? What about the idea of a global basic income that goes to everyone in the world?
