Lexington to Concord ride

Details
This is a ride from Lexington Center to Concord Center on mix of off-road dirt trails and on-road routes with some hills alone the route. We will meet behind the Statue of Captain John Parker at the Lexington Center before 9:00AM and start biking by 9:00AM sharp.
We first follow Mass Ave to the start of the Battle Road Trail. Expect a small hill in this section of the ride. There is a bike lane on this road shared with cars.
Battle Road Trail is a beautiful winding hilly dirt road through the Minutemen National Historical Park. At the end of the trail, there is a nice restroom and water refill station.
After a short break, we will continue on Lexington Road to Concord Center. Again, there is a bike lane on the road but is shared with cars. From there, we can optionally visit the Northern Bridge area where the first shot was heard around the world (again there is a nice restroom and water station there) and turn into the Reformatory Branch Trail and bike back to Lexington Visitor Center on the Minutemen trail via Bedford Depot.
The total distance is about 16 miles. The moving speed will be 10-13 MPH. Because of hills, the ride is considered as moderate. Hybrid or Mountain bikes are recommended. Although I've seen road bikes on these trails, I wouldn't recommend them. Helmet is required and you should be comfortable biking on the road shared with cars. Since these roads are popular biking routes, drivers are used to seeing bikers. Please bring spare tires and pump with you along with water and snacks.
