[BPM] Making Meaningful Games Quickly: A Post Mortem for a Tiny Mass Game
Details
THE TALK
Everyone talks about how great and important it is to make lots of small games, but who wants to just release another Asteroids clone, another buggy recreation of Breakout, or a project that is so unpolished that no one gives it the time of day? Through a post mortem of “Your Own Hand”, his most recent Tiny Mass Games project, Matt will describe his process for creating meaningful games in less than 3 months of part-time work.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Matt is a creative programmer with 15+ years of experience making games, interactive toys, and generative art. He is the founder of Giant Light Studios and a cofounder of Tiny Mass Games, a Massachusetts based collective of developers that release new games every 3 months.
