Boston Indies: When AI Gets Unreal

Details
There's a lot of talk about AI in game development, but what does that actually mean for us as developers? The Lovelace team digs deep to show how LLMs help players create worlds in Nyric, discuss where LLM strengths and limitations lie, and how they integrated LLMs and AI models into their UE 5.3 world generation pipeline. We'll also show AI-generated worlds in runtime and go over where, exactly, LLMs fit in the process and how they could be used by games in the future to parse player input.
After the talk we'll head over to Flat Top Johnny's for some casual beers and pinball.
Speakers:
Kayla: Former AI roboticist of six years and expert in applied architecture, automation, and pipelining. CEO of Lovelace Studio.
Alex: 20+ years of game experience and 3-time exited AAA game developer with titles like EVE: Online, Game of Thrones, and Star Trek.
