Voice Actor & Director Panel | Game Audio Boston

This month, Game Audio Boston is bringing you a star studded panel dedicated to Voiceover. We’ll hear from both voice directors and actors about their experiences working on games like Skyrim, Firewatch, Starfield, Doom, Destiny, Psychonauts and more. If you’re looking to get into the world of VO as an actor, director or editor this one’s for you!

Cissy Jones
Cissy Jones is an award-winning actress, whose voiceover career spans the gamut from animation to video games and everything in between. Aside from winning a BAFTA for her performance in the 2017 Indie videogame Firewatch, Cissy has also cemented her role as a new animation actress to watch for her part as a recurring character in Disney's Owl House series. When she's not creating characters that kids of all ages adore, she's lending her voice to more serious projects such as the Academy-Award nominated documentary Winter on Fire, as well as many national commercials, feature film trailers and network promos.

Piotr Michael
Piotr Michael is an actor and voice artist known for his mimicry and dynamic characters. He has regularly impersonated celebrities on The Howard Stern Show, MADtv, Conan, and Jimmy Kimmel Live. Piotr’s recent credits include Master Yoda in Young Jedi Adventures, Broadfoot and Weasel in The Wild Robot, Pop-Pop in The Loud House, Fire in Beavis and Butt-head, and vocal impersonations as President Joe Biden on various late night shows. In gaming, you can hear him as “Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen” in Dune: Awakening, the Call of Duty franchise, The Outer Worlds, King Novik in the Doom series, Psychonauts 2, and as Ambassador Spock in Star Trek: Resurgence.

Ry Chase
Ry Chase is a Los Angeles based voice actor. Their work includes games such as Destiny: Rising, Guild Wars 2, Starfield, Spider Man 2, Young Jedi Adventures and Marathon.

Khris Brown
Khris Brown (she/they) has been working in VO for games, animation, and film for over 30 years. As a founding member of the Lucasfilm Games Voice Department, she pioneered the beginning of the Games VO industry, casting, directing, and leading a team of editors to create the gold standard for voice production. She has worked on numerous Academy-Award nominated films and an Emmy-award winning animation series through Skywalker Sound. Key projects include Psychonauts 2, We Are OFK and Return to Monkey Island.

Philip Bache
Philip currently directs the performances for AAA video game titles and animation. Philip has casted and managed hundreds of actors ranging from inspiring independent projects with intimate casts to large scale ever-expanding universes with thousands of characters. He has a directing background that varies in genre and tone, for on-camera, voiceover, and even motion capture. Philip has been able to help win many properties numerous performance awards, including BAFTAs, and Performance of the Year. Key projects include The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Life is Strange and Honkai Star Rail.
