The Struggle of Creation: Boston Indies Draw Live!

What does it look like when a professional creates a piece from scratch? What can you truly accomplish in around an hour? How varied can artwork become from a single prompt?

This month, we're repurposing our lecture series to ask these questions with a few artists. We’ll provide a prompt and give those artists around 75 minutes to complete a piece that reflects the prompt in some way.

Questions for the artists will be moderated both during the session and afterwards, allowing the artists to discuss their career, their process, and provide a quick critique of their work.

For others who’d like to take up our challenge and draw along with the panelists in the audience, bring a laptop, tablet, or sketchbook and feel free!
