Bees Deluxe, describe their sound as “acid blues”, has toured from Maine to Miami and shared the stage with such notable national acts as: Ronnie Earl, Walter Trout, Joanna Shaw Taylor, Matt Schofield and Roomful of Blues.

Blues Blast magazine says of Bees Deluxe “...what might happen if Freddie King took a lot of acid then wrote a song with Pat Metheny and asked a strung-out Stevie Ray Vaughan to take a solo.”

Indeed, the band brings traditional blues to its knees with fresh takes on tunes by artists ranging from Billie Holiday to B.B. King—Aretha Franklin to Joe Zawinul.

“We are more improvisational than other blues bands, “says keyboard player Carol Band “We never play the same thing twice—so every time you see us…it’s a new show. The Boston Harbor Distillery is exactly the type of place we love to play. The audience not only appreciates a well-mixed drink, they are discerning music lovers as well.”

Boston Harbor Distillery, on the water in Dorchester’s historic port, has transformed an 11,000 square foot Civil-Ware era warehouse with soaring 40’ foot ceilings, into a modern industrial-chic space for distilling craft spirits, hosting events and tastings and bringing the best live music to their stage. There’s even plenty of room to park.
