Developer Dorm Room

Do you have a project you've been dying to work on, but you're not sure how to get started?

Are you looking for a way to get away from the distractions of home life so you can focus on development?

Do you work better in a collaborative environment where you can bounce ideas off another developer?

BostonPHP is back! And we're kicking this return off with the often requested Developer Dorm Room!

Wayfair will provide us a space where developers like us can come together to accomplish any of the following:

• work on your own idea/project

• get some help from someone more experienced in a certain topic

• mentor others

• contribute to an open-source project

• come up with a new group project

Experience the synergy created when like-minded energetic individuals come together to make things happen. We will provide wifi, power and working space. You just need to bring a laptop.

Want to show off your new site or work on your pitch in front of a small group? Or maybe you would like to give a brief 15-30 minute crash course on a specific topic. We will have projectors you can use for this.

This will be a casual, come-and-go-as-you-please event with no schedule or predefined agenda. The primary focus is to bring developers together and let them do what they do best. The details are all up to you!

Food and Drink

Since this is a come-and-go-as-you-please event, you are welcome to bring your own, or head to one of the many fine establishments in Back Bay. We will most likely have something delivered for lunch, but that will depend on the group's preferences.

Food and drink notes:

• If you are having food delivered, let one of the organizers know before you order so they can clear it with security.

• Alcoholic beverages are permitted, but please be responsible.
