Can anyone volunteer for the Ras na hEireann number pickup today at Marathon Sports in Boston today from 3-6:30??

I signed up to work it, but I have a student faculty basketball game on the South Shore at the same time.? If you signed up for tomorrow I'd gladly switch with you.?

To be on the safe side, I think it'd be a really good idea to have your knee checked-out by a physician. ?It's possible that you may have strained one of those vital tendons/ligaments in your knee when you rolled your ankle. ?(Perhaps it tried to overcompensate for the sudden loss of balance?) ?If the doctors say nothing's wrong, a little bit of ibuprofen before a run may not be a bad idea. ?However, I don't recommend doing this before seeing a doctor because you don't want the ibuprofen masking a potentially-getting-worse injury.

On another note, I'm not sure which Brooks you purchased but I have their Infinity running sneakers and they are AMAZING!! ?I chose these because I also have over-pronation and flat feet, but also had a lot of knee pain and back pain. ?Granted, I tend to be a treadmill princess (as an extra precaution on the knee & back pain) but my pain has nearly disappeared completely. ?(What's great about these shoes is that most I've seen only have the air-like padding underneath the heals but these one have them under the balls of the feet as well... which made a huge difference for me!)
