Ukulele Workshop for Beginners at Historic Lower Mills
Hosted by Ukulele Union of Boston
Details
• What we'll do
For all beginners who already know how to tune, feel comfortable holding your instrument and play the up and down strokes with the flesh and nails of your thumb & fingers. Know C, CM7, C7, F, Am, Am7 chords. Come learn some songs and play together. [This workshop also follows the CRASH COURSE.]
Each workshop is different. For this one, you will learn an approach to learning a new song that can make you more productive in your playing.
$20 for the 1.5 hour workshop (you'll receive a handout after attendance).
Additional $10 if you'd like to reserve an instrument.
Unique opportunity to play music in the former administrative building of the oldest chocolate factory in America. Walter Baker Artist Lofts has a permanent exhibit by the artists in residence. The common room (with temporary exhibit) is on the right-hand side of the front entrance. This is a grassroots initiative to introduce the joy of ukulele to this part of Boston. Location is visible from the Milton-T station.
