• What we'll do
Adams St Branch of Boston Public Library will be closing for extensive rebuild/renovations for at least a year. This is the library that started acquiring and lending out ukuleles, giving free courses/workshops in early 2018. The ukuleles and guitars will go to Lower Mills Branch of BPL in the meantime.
Join us in a singalong with ukuleles, with song sheets on music stands outside in the garden (weather permitting) or indoors with projector.
The Mayor of Boston will be present to do a groundbreaking ceremony at 5 pm.
Meet by 5:30 pm to prepare for a one-hour session from 6 pm. This is a PARTY with refreshments, food, etc. Bring your own ukulele, kazoo, song sheets, and music stand.
Dress code: bright summer colors
