Ukulele Online Show and Tell - Color
Details
As usual, we'll have fun. Have a drink before or during. The first approximately ten people to volunteer to sing/play. We'll give first timers priority. We'll open things up around 6:45pm EST (or perhaps a little earlier) for jovial small and medium talk. We'll end about 8pm (same time zone, in case you're wondering).
NOTE FOR THIS WEEK'S SHOW!: For the following week, the 24th, bring an idea, a suggestion, for a song that we could all do on the 24th. Think of a song that most would know. It can be from any genre. And actually, one could turn a song from one genre into another. For example, one could do The Beatle's 'A Hard Day's Night', a rock and roll song, as some sort of uptempo jazz swing, or even as a ballad. Whatever.
We'll decide, perhaps through a poll (if I can figure out how to do that), on three songs from which to choose. You would then choose one of them to do on the 24th, in whatever way you might want. It doesn't have to be a replica of the style of the original. Put your own original stamp on it.
So again, think of one or more songs that could be thrown into the ring for us to choose from, and throw it/them in during next week's show, and then we'll figure out which ones to do.
Meanwhile, the theme for NEXT week's show is COLOR. Clear as mud?
Reminder: If you wish to play this week, indicate you'd like to do so in the chat here, preferably by Thursday midnight.
See you Saturday.
