• What we'll do
This is the last workshop and jam session before we resume again in April. To welcome Spring, we will focus on a few key songs in the Island Theme. If you play the ukulele, you'd want to know Iz's famous "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" -

Join us for the 7 pm beginner's workshop to learn how to do the special strum pattern and the chords for this song, as well as the "Hawaiian vamp or Hawaiian turnaround" that accompanies so many Hawaiian songs.

The rest of the songs are in the 14-page "Island Theme Ukulele" Songbook which you can download from the list at http://www.anneku.com/ukulele/

Unique opportunity to play music in the former administrative building of the oldest chocolate factory in America. Walter Baker Artist Lofts has a permanent exhibit by the artists in residence.
