What we’re about
Our purpose is to build community for lesbians in the Boston area. Non-lesbian women who are currently in a same-sex relationship are also welcome. We especially welcome women who have recently moved here, or who have recently come out. Also, to help change the story that it is so hard to meet people in Boston.
We were formerly known as The JP Women's Group. Founded 1/26/07 by Chris (formerly Hansen) Juliani.
As you prepare to join this group please...
PLAN TO BE AN ACTIVE MEMBER! Here's the deal...You can either show up to events and have an AWESOME time with great women, or you can never show up and never get to do what you came here to do...HANG OUT WITH AWESOME WOMEN! So please check our Meetup page regularly and come to Meetups when you can. We host stuff just about every weekend and many times during the week.
Don't see any events that you are interested in attending?
A new policy for posting meetups has been implemented as of January 2016. All group members will now be able to post their meetup ideas by using the "SUGGEST A MEETUP" link on the group's main page. This will allow you to input all event details to be reviewed by an Organizer. Once the event has been reviewed, it will be "announced" and made visible to all members of the group. Please note that by suggesting an event, you agree to be responsible for hosting this event (an Organizer will discuss these responsibilities with you at the time of the event's announcement).
