Builders of the Adytum is a Mystery School and training order based on the Western Mystery tradition. B.O.T.A. members receive weekly lessons in Tarot, Qabalah, Gematria, Astrology, Alchemy, and other related disciplines.
The Open Forum Forum is an opportunity for those seekers drawn to these disciplines to meet with other spiritual aspirants on the path for thoughtful discussion and community. B.O.T.A. membership is not required for participation in this Open Forum.
The harmonies pre existing among Tarot signs, symbols, and images, evoke an inner response from each person in the Group. Each individual responds according to his/her own background and, therefore, each person makes a unique contribution and similarly, receives a unique point of view from others. It is an active, engaging, and stimulating process of learning along with other seekers of like mind.
No preparation or previous study is necessary, all are welcome. All you need to do is attend. Your interest, your imagination, your intuition, and your inquiring mind will do the rest.

Take the first stairway up to the 2nd floor and the meeting space will be the first door on your left. If you need an elevator, ring the doorbell and someone will lead the way.]With this month’s meeting, we reach the 7th and final stage of spiritual unfoldment depicted on the bottom row of the B.O.T.A. Tarot Tableau. Key 21, The World, represents Cosmic Consciousness, the Administrative Intelligence, and the pair of opposites Dominion and Slavery. The World has the Hebrew letter Tav (signature or mark) assigned to it as well as the planetary attribution of Saturn, which are sure to spark a lively discussion when we consider their significance in relation to the various aspects of the key.
We will begin by reading Jason Lotterhand’s lecture on Key 21 from his book The Thursday Night Tarot. We will then enjoy a thoughtful group discussion of our impressions and thoughts regarding the key, and we will conclude with a meditation from The Book of Tokens.Optional Supplemental Material:

For those who are able, please feel free to bring snacks you would like to share with the group. Please be mindful of food allergies and consider bringing options which are gluten free and dairy free to ensure there is something for everyone.
