Key 18. The Moon

Topic: Key 18, The Moon: The Corporeal Intelligence. Organization. Embodiment. 4th stage of spiritual unfoldment.

During this month’s open forum we will be looking into the meanings of Key 18, The Moon, and the wisdom it communicates about the closest thing we have to ourselves. Our own bodies. The principle of organization comes into play when we consider the atomic composition of the myriad forms in the physical world. How does this practically infinite number of particles, separated by astronomical distances from one another, relative to their size, somehow cooperate to build up and sustain what our senses report as the various physical objects in the world around us?
We may not definitively answer this question during out Sunday meeting, but we will certainly have a great time chewing on it together.

We will explore Key 18 with the help of a reading from The Thursday Night Tarot by Jason Lotterhand. After which, we will enjoy a thoughtful group discussion of ideas and impressions related to the reading and review of the meanings of the key. We will conclude with a meditation on the Hebrew letter Qoph from The Book of Tokens, followed by some time for socializing and enjoying some refreshments.
