i've read this before and look forward to reading it again. I'm always fascinated by books that have such a range of reviews. so many 5-star reviews but the haters really panned it. one reviewer said, (directly pasted) Writing: offensively bad/5 | Plot: nonexistent/5 | Ending: abysmal/5
wow! i wonder if any of us will agree! i hope not! in the very least, i remember thinking it was provocative enough to make for a good conversation. if i'm wrong and we cannot fill more than an hour talking about this book, then we shall chat about other terrible books we've experienced.
this will be adapted for the big screen and is slated to be released this May. we shall see if this stays true come May. the stars are Anne Hathaway and Dakota Johnson. fingers crossed the adaptation is good.
