Join us for a family-friendly barbecue picnic & potluck followed by a presentation on urban survival. This event is open to the public and FREE for everyone. LIMITED TO 25 PEOPLE.
Barbecue Picnic & Potluck - 2:00 pm
- Bring a dish to share: Your favorite beverages (including beer, wine, liquor), a side dish, appetizer, or dessert.
- We'll supply Air Conditioning, clean restrooms, shade, SomaFM radio, hamburgers and veggie burgers with buns and all the fixings, baked chicken, along with water and lemonade.
- This event is limited to 25 adults, so register early!
Urban Survival Presentation - 3:30 pm
- Join us for a crash course on urban survival.
- Mike Tomlinson, a graduate of Wilderness Institute for Survival Education (WISE), is our presenter.
- What should you do if your car gets stuck in a snow drift?
- What items should be in your auto survival kit?
- What are the Do's and Don'ts of modern day emergency planning?
Directions from Boulder: This is at a member's home in SW Longmont. Address will be sent out via Meetup messaging the day prior to the event.
