Star Party with Standley Lake Stargazing
Details
This event is ON. We expect to at least be able to view Saturn and some of the brighter clusters.
Join us for a star party hosted by Standley Lake Stargazing.
If weather cooperates, we have many items to view this night: Saturn, the Wild Duck Cluster, the Andromeda Galaxy, the E.T. Cluster, the Triangulum Galaxy, the Perseus Double Cluster and Algol (a.k.a. the "Demon Star”), and much more!
Our host, Aric Vyhmeister, is an Aerospace engineer, amateur astronomer, and science educator. This is your cosmos, engage with it!
This event is weather-dependent. By 4:30pm on the day of the event, the Meetup description will be updated to either confirm it is being held, or that it's canceled. If it's on, bring layers of clothing to prepare for a temperature drop.
While the event is free, donations to Standley Lake Stargazing would be appreciated so they can continue to host great events. If you can't join us this time, consider other star parties hosted by Standley Lake Stargazing.
