Dr. Michael Grant will present: The Ecology of Disease Resistant Pathogens

The scientific community argues that the development of Anti-Microbial Resistant strains of bacteria represents a severe, immediate danger to the human population. In this talk, we will show how resistant strains develop according to Darwinian principles and will provide examples of those pathogens. We will also examine strategies to reduce the risk, both personal and environmentally, including several counter-intuitive common practices.

This event is for seniors only. Please register with to attend through the Longmont Senior Center.
