"Jungle Birds of Boulder"

Details
Hi everyone,
It's time for our annual bird walk with Dave Sutherland up the beautiful Bear Mt. trail (1520 Bear Mountain Drive). This is always a highlight for us as the migrants are showing up from their winter vacations and building nests and raising their young.
Dave is an award-winning naturalist and formerly with Boulder OSMP. He is sure to entertain and educate us as we bird one of Boulder's best trails for colorful spring migrants. We will actually use "Birds of Costa Rica" as our field guide! As Dave likes to say, "Why fly to Belize or Costa Rica when their birds will come to us?"
Following our walk, we'll head back down Table Mesa Drive to Southern Sun (627 S. Broadway) for some libations you purchase and snacks provided by Boulder County Audubon Society. Unfortunately, they don't accept credit cards, so bring cash or check.
I'll bring some binoculars to lend if you don't have your own.
To get to the meeting place from Broadway and Table Mesa Dr., go west on T.M. Dr., south on Lehigh, west on Bear Mt. Dr., and the trailhead is just past Wildwood Lane. Park on the street.
***IMPORTANT: Only sign up for this event if you are certain you will attend. If you're signed up on either the regular or the waitlist and you discover that you aren't able to attend, please cancel your RSVP NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, MAY 16 AT 5:00PM. If you have a medical emergency or something like that after 5/16 at 5:00PM, message me on the Boulder Birds and Brew website about your problem. If I don't hear from you and you're a No Show at our event, I will have to remove your name from the membership list. Thanks for helping give everyone a chance to attend!
