Boulder Bitcoin exists to build an inclusive community for Bitcoiners and anyone interested in learning more about Bitcoin. We host workshops, lectures, and community events for the Boulder community. Welcome!

We are working on an exciting initiative in 2026 to help increase merchant adoption of bitcoin in Boulder. Our stated goal is to go from ~5 merchants accepting bitcoin to 50! If you are a local merchant using Square, we're happy to help you start accepting bitcoin as payment.

Hey All,

Great to see everyone at Rayback last week! We're seeing exciting progress on our bitcoin merchant adoption mission with three new businesses added so far.

Next up we will be back at Rayback on April 9th. Help us reach our goal of helping 50 vendors/merchants in and around Boulder accept bitcoin by the end of the year! If you are a local business and want help figuring out bitcoin and how to accept payments, we are here to help!

We are typically in the back of the Rayback building, gathered around one of the large tables (walk past the bar to the right and look for the big orange Bitcoin sign).
