Home Coffee Roasting Kickoff - A Cold Garage, Of Course!

This is a start up event: who's interested in roasting and wants to connect with other home roasters? We'll do introductions, take a look at a [cold] garage roasting set up, exchange ideas about what would be fun for future events, decide whether we have critical mass, and organize accordingly. And taste some coffee, of course! Very informal, this is an exploratory gathering to test for interest. Prior roasting experience not required, but experienced roasters will be essential. Please RSVP; I have modest expectations and put an initial limit at 10. If there's a lot of interest we'll adapt for future events. For this first meeting be prepared for my uninsulated (hoping to fix that soon) garage, for the future we'll explore other venue(s), perhaps commercial roasteries or coffee shops, perhaps your own roasting set up.
