Boulder Contra Dance

CFOOTMAD presents community contra dances on the first and third Fridays in the main ballroom at the Avalon. Our dances are open to everyone; dancers are welcome to dance their preferred follower or leader role. No partner is required; it is customary for dancers to change partners for each dance. There is a short walk-through before each dance begins. If this is your first contra dance, it is very helpful to attend the 30-minute lesson just beforehand.

Lesson: 7:00 (free with admission to the dance)

Regular Dance: 7:30 to 10:30

Cost: $12.00 for CFOOTMAD members, $15.00 for non-members, $10.00 for students, free for those 12 and under
