14th Annual Mardi Gras Dance and Fundraiser Party at the Avalon Ballroom!

Come join 300 of your closest dancing friends at the Avalon Ballroom this Sat night for the most fun event of the year! The 2026 Mardi Gras Dance and Fundraiser features a live Zydeco band, Koray Broussard and the Zydeco Unit, straight from the Louisiana bayou! Dance Zydeco, Swing, Blues, Waltz and more! This fabulous night includes a Zydeco dance lesson at 7pm, music from 8-11, a costume contest with prizes, authentic Cajun food available for purchase, Voodoo Alley with Tarot and Astrology readings and painting your own DIY mask, complimentary King Cake, Beer and wine available, beads galore, and more! This event supports the non-profits: KGNU community radio, and Colorado Friends of Cajun and Zydeco Music and Dance cultural organization.
