What we’re about

Welcome to a new group in Boulder, launching its first event in December 2025 entitled "Yoga and Dreamwork: A Transformative Practice" under the series entitled Interweaving the Sacred and the Prosaic: Yoga and Dreamwork.

We bridge the dreamworld and the everyday world—not only by carrying our dreams into waking life, but by learning to awaken within our dreams, whether in the night or as we revive them together in these sessions. We also cultivate the ability to recognize the dreamlike quality woven through ordinary life—by looking more closely for the mysterious, the enchanting, and the extraordinary that shimmer in the liminal spaces between our everyday moments.

Explore the magical blend of yoga and dreamwork, where the sacred meets the everyday in a transformative and enlightening experience.

    Description:
Come join us for a transformative experience at 234 Montgomery Dr where we will prepare the body through gentle yoga asanas and breathwork for a journey into dreamwork. This event series offers a unique opportunity to delve into the spiritual and practical aspects of these practices, discovering how they can complement each other in our daily lives.
Through a series of interactive sessions, we will learn how to integrate the wisdom of our dreams with mindfulness, creating a harmonious balance. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or new to these disciplines, this event promises to inspire and enlighten your journey towards self-discovery.

Bring a notebook (or dream journal), yoga mat, blanket, and small pillow, if you wish. We will have extras for you at the event space, if you don't have your own.

Street parking and free parking lot are available within a 1-minute walking distance from the venue. This is a residential neighborhood.

    11:30 - 11:45
    Guided Meditation
    Erin Lamb
Next, we move into breathwork (prāṇāyām) and a guided meditation to gently shift into a more liminal state—a threshold space where we become receptive and open to entering the realm of dream.

    11:50 - 1:00
Introduction to Dreamwork & Practicum 1
    Erin Lamb
We begin with a brief exploration of the history of dreaming and dreamwork across cultures and eras, touching on what dreams and the dreamtime have meant to people throughout the world. From there, we look at the multidimensional psyche, different types of dreams, and various approaches to dreamwork. Then we invite our own dream to join us: we write it into our dream journals and allow it to come fully alive in the room. From this shared presence, we begin the dreamwork itself.
