Halfway down the invite you will find what we will be talking about to start in our small groups. Feel free to translate and write out your answers in advance to bring with you!***

Ciao! Benvenuto nella nostra pratica linguistica!

This gathering will take place every other week with a rotating topic and prompts. New prompts will be posted about one week in advance.

We will start with introductions as a large group and then break into groups of 4-6 people so everyone can have a chance to ask and answer the questions of the week. Feel free to come with your answers written. I use Google Translate to help with writing questions, and I welcome corrections. Grazie!

1. Quali sono i tuoi cibi preferiti in autunno? Quando il tempo diventa più fresco, quali bevande ti piace bere?
   What are your favorite foods in the fall? As the weather cools down, what drinks do you enjoy?
2. Ti piace cucinare piatti tipici dell’autunno, per esempio con zucca, funghi o mele? Qual è una ricetta autunnale che ti piace molto?
   Do you like to cook typical autumn dishes, for example, with pumpkin, mushrooms, or apples? What is a fall recipe that you really enjoy?
3. Hai un ricordo speciale legato al cibo o alle bevande d’autunno?
   Do you have a special memory connected to fall food or drinks?

Feel free to share beyond these prompts and ask others questions. Feel free to come prepared to say you don't understand or you need to hear something repeated. These phrases may be helpful:

• Non capisco.
• Puoi parlare lentamente, per favore?
• Puoi ripetere, per favore?
• Parla inglese, per favore!
• Come si dice... ?

These days, we tend to stay longer than the official end time, but feel free to leave when you need to! If you can, please arrive on time in order to get a beverage or snack so we can start with introductions by 11:15 am! Grazie!
