A misaligned or poorly tuned rear derailleur can ruin an otherwise great ride. In this class, we’ll cover the essentials of getting your shifting running smooth and accurate.

### What we’ll go over:

• How to check whether your derailleur hanger is straight.
• Understanding and setting your high- and low-limit screws.
• How to evaluate your shifter cable and housing (a major source of shifting issues).
• What worn parts look like: derailleur condition, jockey wheels, cassette, and chain.
• How to do a clean, reliable derailleur tune that works on any number of gears.

This session is hands-on and beginner-friendly. Please bring YOUR BIKE. You’ll learn on your own drivetrain.
