⚫️ Gurlz Ride ⚫️
Details
The Ride:
- Walker Ranch: Walker Ranch is an advanced riding area. There's a mix of fast flowy singletrack, technical rocky sections, and even a somewhat difficult hike-a-bike section. It's never flat, and some of the climbs are quite steep.
- Aerobic Difficulty: 7/10, Technical Difficulty: 7/10
- About 8 - 10 miles and 1,500 ft of climbing depending on route
- 🚫 e-Bikes are not permitted on this ride for folks experiencing disabilities. See Boulder County regulations for more details.
Gurlz Ride:
- Women’s intermediate ride to build skills, meet other riders, and have fun on local trails, with a post-ride hang.
- We’ll split into 2-3 smaller groups according to desired pace
- No drop ride – we stop at all intersections and wait for all!
Housekeeping:
- Please sign up on Meetup. By signing up for this ride, you agree to our Waiver.
- Meetup page will be updated with weather conditions - please check prior to the ride for the most up to date information! Event will be cancelled if there is inclement weather. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early for a timely departure!
- All riders MUST wear a helmet and close-toe shoes, bring water and food, and have a trail-ready bike.
- Riders should carry basic tools: a spare tube, pump, tire lever, chain tool and Allen wrenches.
- All riders ride at their own risk, group leaders take no responsibility for rider safety/injury.
About BMA:
- The Boulder Mountainbike Alliance is a volunteer-run, membership-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. BMA's mission is to serve as a positive voice for mountain biking in the greater Boulder Colorado area by improving the trail experience for all users through skill clinics, social rides, events, advocacy, and trail building.
