What we’re about

I am a lover of tabletop role-playing games (RPGs), and want to share them with others. So once or twice a month I will host a session at the Boulder Library where anyone can come and learn how to play!

Have you heard of RPGs from Stranger Things, Critical Role, or Dimension 20? Want to give it a try and stretch your imagination? Or maybe you're an experienced gamer looking to try out a new game for some variety?

Tabletop RPGs use improvisational storytelling mingled with game mechanics to help direct and facilitate the story. Each player creates a character, and together they star in the story like an ensemble cast of your favorite show. Meanwhile the game master voices other characters for the players to interact with, helps describe the world around them, and keeps the mechanics in mind to help the story flow in a fun fashion.

For each meeting I will bring a game, we will make some characters and lay the groundwork for a plot, then I will run an adventure where we will collaboratively tell a story. I'll provide the dice, you help bring the tale to life!
