Shambhala Day marks the beginning of the New Year and is one of the most important celebrations in Tibetan Buddhism and our Shambhala community. Rooted in the traditional Tibetan New Year (Losar), this day is calculated astrologically according to the Tibetan lunar calendar and changes each year in harmony with the lunar cycles.
Please join us for our annual Shambhala Day celebration:
Wednesday, February 18 9:00 AM – Noon We will gather to enjoy each other’s company, practice together, make aspirations for the coming year, and view the international Shambhala Global Services broadcast. During the morning, we will also hear from the members of the Front Range Shambhala Board of Directors.
6:30 PM
In the evening, you are warmly invited to join our annual Sadhana of Mahamudra Feast Practice.
