Dirty Bismark Loop from Greenbelt Plateau
Details
This Saturday we’ll be running the Dirty Bismark loop starting from the Greenbelt Plateau trailhead. The total loop is just under 15 miles with about 900 ft of gain. Those wanting to do the whole loop will go clockwise, and those not interested in running 15 miles can head counter-clockwise and turn-around at whatever point you want or when we meet.
Alternatively, another shorter option is to start at the Coalton Trailhead at McCaslin Blvd & Coalton Rd, and just run back to the start with the group (about 5.5 miles), then get a lift back to your car. ...or if you need additional miles, you can add what you need west of Hwy 93.
I'd estimate we'll be passing through the Coalton Trailhead sometime shortly after 9:30a.
We’ll start at the Greenbelt Plateau trailhead at the intersection of Hwy 92 & Hwy 128 south of Boulder at 7:45a.
The forecast looks warm, so it should be an amazing day on a relatively flat and minimally technical route.
Dogs allowed with some leash restrictions.
Btw, please sign up for the Movie Premier and Social Gathering event scheduled for May 17th! We need your RSVP, so we can have an expected head count for food planning. Also, for those of you that would like to join that have not attended one of our run events before, this Saturday is a great opportunity to join.
