Buchanan Pass trail / Middle St. Vrain Creek - 7.1 miles and 850 ft EG

This beautiful out and back trail starts at the Middle St Vrain trailhead at the west end of the Camp Dick Campground (off Peak-to-Peak Highway) and follows the route to Buchanan Pass. The trail offers scenic views of the creek, forests and meadows with wild flowers abound.

Please carpool if possible. We wait for late arrivals no more than 5 minutes, so please leave early enough to meet us on time.

Bring layers, sun protection, water and a snack/lunch. We will take a longer break at a meadow with mountain views before heading back to the trailhead. Don't forget a towel if you want to take a dip in the creek afterwards :)
