This is a new trail we will be exploring. Please budget 4 to 5 hours for the hike as well as time at the lake. Off of HWY 7 turn onto Wild Basin Road. The trail head is right at the main check in station. Please bring a RMNP pass if you have one.

Please be at the trailhead by 8:20 am for a 8 30 am start.

Sandbeach Lake is a great spot to explore, picnic, fish, or swim in the summer months. The trailhead is located just outside of the town of Allenspark. This trailhead and parking lot is very popular year-round, so it is a good idea to get an early start if you are heading out to Sandbeach Lake.
