RMNP: Gem Lake and Balanced Rock - 8.1 miles and 1620 ft EG
Details
This is a great hike that has it all: beautiful views of Estes Park and Longs Peak, unique rock formations like Paul Bunyan's Boot (who according to the tall tales created the "10,000 lakes" of Minnesota), a Balanced Rock, and Gem Lake (a shallow pond filled in strictly by trapped snowmelt and rainfall). There is even a privy right beneath Gem Lake with a view of Longs Peak!
You can find more info on the hike on AllTrails

The final approach to Gem Lake is steep and rocky (large stone steps), so bring poles if you find them helpful. We will hike at an approximately 2.2 to 2.3 mph average speed and take multiple breaks to enjoy the views and take pictures.
The Lumpy Ridge trailhead is part of Rocky Mountain National Park and requires an entrance fee. Please bring your annual pass or buy a day ticket (https://www.nps.gov/romo/planyourvisit/fees.htm). Please consider carpooling if possible.
As always bring layers, water and a snack/lunch. Also, check back the day before the hike for possible weather related cancellations.
By signing up for this hike you acknowledge that you participate at your own risk and are solely responsible for your safety.
