Starting at 6pm we will have our beginner's track. Marty Haught will be doing a last minute substitution. He'll be going over logging in applications -- why do we have logging and how to use it, including some pitfalls.

The food and beverages will arrive by 6:30pm where you can eat, drink and mingle with your fellow Rubyists for 45 minutes while the rest of the crowd arrives.

Around 7:15pm we'll start presentations.

Jeremy Hinegardner will kick it off giving us an intro to Roda (http://roda.jeremyevans.net/), a lightweight routing framework in Ruby.

We have several great upcoming talks that weren't quite ready for January so Marty will do another substitution for the second talk. He'll be giving a primer on 'The 4 rules of simple design'. These 'rules' were established years ago by Kent Beck via XP (Extreme programming). Corey Haines recently published an eBook called "Understanding the 4 Rules of Simple Design". Marty will go over all this with example code for a lively discussion!

See everyone at the first meeting of our 10th year!
