6:30pm: Pizza, beer, and mingling

7:15pm: Announcements

7:25pm: Contract software developer basics
Dan Moore will talk about the joys, challenges, and fabulous riches you may acquire as a software development contractor.

7:50pm: Distractions
Stirling Olson will talk about some recent research on distractions. Who causes the most distractions? What kind of work is most likely to allow distractions? Are men or women better at recovering from distractions?
