Join us at our monthly gathering where we present topics of interest to Rubyists and aspiring programmers.
We are trying a new format this month:
6pm - 7pm: Networking with food and beverages
7:10pm : Interesting news from the previous few weeks
7:25pm: Introduce and discuss Theme of the Evening
7:30pm: Main presentation followed by discussion/Q&A
8:15pm: Follow-up presentation
The main presentation will be given by Adam Dill. Adam will discuss the basics of Middleman including setup, architecture, blogging, and basic deployment. He’ll discuss real world use cases and tricks for making statically compiled sites dynamic.
Marty Haught will give the follow-up presentation, he will go over the realities of deploying and managing your middleman stack on AWS, including multiple environments and integration with CloudFront and Lambda
