Doors open at 6:00pm, where you can hangout and socialize with other Boulder Ruby members.

We also have a zoom at https://github.zoom.us/j/97330732657?pwd=WE9VbGNobmJwbnJ4OCtFWmtVR1BxUT09 if you want to join online.

Talk 1: Attraction Mailbox - Why I love Action Mailbox by Cody Norman

Description: Email is a powerful and flexible way to extend the capabilities of your Rails application. It’s a familiar and low friction way for users to interact with your app.

As much as you may want your users to access your app, they may not need to. Email is a great example of focusing on the problem at hand instead of an over-complicated solution.

We’ll take a deeper look at Action Mailbox and how to route and process your inbound emails.

Bio: Cody is an independent Ruby on Rails consultant and has been working in the Rails ecosystem for the past 10 years. Outside of his consulting work, he spends time mentoring early career developers with the Agency of Learning. Through the Agency of Learning and The Rails Foundation, Cody acted as Tech Lead for the conference application built for the inaugural Rails World conference by early career developers.
