Monthly Meeting :-)

The beginner's track will start at 6:00pm. Jason Hopper will talk about Recursion.

Pizza will arrive around 6:30pm.

At 7:15, we will start the main presentations after announcements.

Our first presentation will be Brian Whipple presenting on Cycligent.

Deploying Multiple Versions of your App with Cycligent

Description: We will be exploring the topic of continuous delivery and specifically a deployment pattern called canary release. With canary release, you can deploy two versions of your application simultaneously and then slowly transition your users from the old version to the new version. There are many benefits to this approach, and we will explore why and how this can be done with your applications. Traditionally canary release is a fairly difficult task to perform. However, our team built a tool that makes this easy even if staff, expertise, and resources are limited.

Our second presentation will be from Enrico Teotti who will be talking about building and maintaining large Ruby applications with gems.
