Join us at our monthly gathering at Pivotal Labs (https://pivotal.io/locations/boulder) where we present topics of interest to Rubyists and aspiring programmers.
6:00 Beginner’s track (in the conference room):
Noel Worden is going to walk through a Rails application he built. We will be discussing the the thought-process behind his decisions regarding the User Interface, third-party gems and API's. We'll also discuss how it helped him land his first software development job.

Hanami, the Web With Simplicity (by Sean Collins)
Hanami (http://hanamirb.org/)(formerly Lotus) is a full-stack Ruby web framework, focused on facilitating clean code architecture. We'll walk through building a simple web application with Hanami, and discuss benefits & trade-offs along the way.
