Talk 1: An intro to OpenDroneMap by Corey Snipes

Description: OpenDroneMap is a user-friendly, extendable application and REST API for drone image processing and photogrammetry. This talk will introduce drone mapping and photogrammetry concepts and explain where ODM fits.

Bio: Corey Snipes is a software engineer and drone pilot, and contributor in the open-source OpenDroneMap (ODM) project.

Talk 2: Rails C With Me: The Interactive Console As A Superpower by Sweta Sanghavi from BackerKit

Description: Spinning up the rails console can be a quick way to answer a question with a back of the envelope calculation. But, what else can we use it for, and how does it work? Allow me to show you new ways to leverage the console's features and become an even more expert debugger. You'll leave with some simple tactics to save you time and write more performant code. While you're here, we'll look under the hood to see how the features of the console are encoded and we'll trace back the history of these libraries to see how they arrived in our Rails application.

Bio: Sweta Sanghavi is a rails developer, plant mother, and occasional Berkeley forager. She enjoys all that can be revealed from seemingly simple places when you approach them with curiosity. She enables creators to make their crowdfunded dreams a reality at BackerKit.
