in 2024 Berndt Savig went on a sculpture sabbatical to explore regional stone and sculpting traditions in Tamil Nadu India, Naxos Greece, Carrara Italy, Bloomington Indiana, and Marble Colorado. In addition, he attended a workshop on letter cutting in Wales UK, and Bloomington Indiana.
This presentation will be an overview of the sabbatical experience.
