*SUNSET HIKE* of Coffintop Mountain (near Button Rock Reservoir)

This is a fairly long hike for after work, but nearby and well worth it!

The hike consists of partial road, trail, bushwhack and maybe some light rock scrambling. The summit is around 8000' and has great views of Ralph Price Reservoir and surrounding area.

The total distance is just under 8 miles RT with about 2200' of gain.

Sorry folks, apparently no dogs allowed at Button Rock anymore :(

Meet at Amante Coffee in North Boulder to coordinate carpool. Park in the rear of the building.

Bring a headlamp, and make sure you have the track as the route can be a little tricky!
