Full moon NCAR Dinosaur Mountain hike
Details
This is a short but steep hike. We'll go up the Mallory Cave trail and then up the Dinosaur Mountain trail. We may do some Class 3 off-trail scrambling adventures (nothing dangerous) on the way up.
We'll start at 5pm. We'll get to the top around 7pm. Sunset will be 8:32pm. We'll go out to the Southern Sun (627 S Broadway) or Illegal Pete's for dinner afterwards.
The full moon is Wednesday but I'm doing the Wilderness First Responder course.
Bring a headlamp and trekking poles.
