Meet fun friends and hike beautiful King Lake! Enjoy a trail with amazing wildflowers and waterfalls.
We'll meet at in Boulder at 7am at BoxCar Coffee at Table Mesa and Broadway to carpool.
Alternatively, you meet us at the Nederland Highschool at 8am to catch the Hessie Shuttle to the trailhead. Trail distance is 12 miles with 2,500 feet elevation. The top part of the trail might have a bit of mud or snow so hiking boots and wool socks are recommended. Hiking time will be about 6 hours on the trail with good people and conversations! We might be back around 5pm but I'm setting the end time at 6pm to ensure we have time for lunch up at the lake!
Bring 2 liters of water, a rain shell just in case, lunch, snacks, sunscreen.
