Adventures in Evolution | First Female ascent of the Evolution Traverse

I'm going to be giving a slide show @ Neptune that I gave to CalTech Alpine Club in November entitled: Adventures in Evolution | First Female ascent of the Evolution Traverse. The Evolution Traverse (5.9, VI) is a highly coveted climb spanning 8 miles and nine 13,000 ft peaks in the amazing High Sierra of California. Due to its length and remoteness successful attempts are infrequent. Sierra legend Peter Crofts calls it "the best traverse I have done." In Aug 2011 I completed the traverse solo, becoming the first woman to climb the entire route. The event is free. There will be lots of alpine eye candy. Hope you can make it.
