Inaugural "Boulder 20/20" Chess Tournament

Please join us for our inaugural Boulder 20/20 chess tournament.

4 round Swiss system tournament (USCF Rated)
Time Control: G/20 (20 minutes per player for the game)
Site: CU Boulder UMC (see below for more info)
Entry fee: $5 if you register ahead of time on our tournament page (select that you will "attend" the event). $10 on site.
Prizes: TBD based on number of entries.
On-Site Registration: 6:20pm to 6:35pm (not necessary if you register online)
Rounds: 6:45; 7:30; 8:15; 9:00

CLICK HERE for a map showing the location of the Chess Club at the University Memorial Center (UMC). The tournament will be in the common area across from "Baby Doe's Coffee and Bakery". There will be students talking at surrounding tables, so keep in mind that there will be some ambient noise during play.

If you are driving, the best place to park is in the Euclid Avenue AutoPark located directly adjacent to the UMC. Anyone can park in this lot after 5pm for a fixed fee of $4. CLICK HERE to see where the AutoPark is located.

Please remember to bring your tournament chess set and chess clock!

Refunds offered if:

  • the Meetup is cancelled
  • the Meetup is rescheduled
  • you can cancel at least 1 day(s) before the Meetup

Payments you make go to the organizer, not to Meetup. You must make refund requests to the organizer.

Regardless of the refund policy set by the organizer, Meetup may issue refunds on an organizer's behalf if we determine that Meetup's Payment Policies have been violated.
