Baby Owl Nature Hike at Twin Lakes (North Boulder) - 10 AM
Details
The Twin Lakes Great Horned Owls have returned for Easter! Come celebrate with the most famous Owl Family in Colorado.
The baby owls are now learning to fly. Father and Mother owl are teaching the young owls to hunt in the Owl Hunting Meadow just south of the lakes! We will visit the Owl Nesting tree to see our friends in action.
Led by Owl Naturalist Ken Beitel, this guided hike will explore fascinating Owl facts and biology. Perfect for families and friends this hike will be one of the most amazing events of your Easter season.
By enjoying this hike you will also help create the Twin Lakes Owl Preserve and Open Space. Together we can win permanent protection for the proposed Twin Lakes Owl Preserve in partnership with Boulder County and Boulder Valley School District.
The Owls are looking forward to seeing you!
