SoBo Coffee & Cardio Neighborhood Walk

**Please note that FITNESS-pace walks move at a steady 3 MPH, which can be challenging for some walkers. This walk includes going uphill for the first half of the route. All participants are responsible for their own safety.**

Walk Description: Starting at the Neptune Mountaineering Cafe, we'll take an invigorating morning walk through South Boulder neighborhoods, going up to the top of Shanahan Ridge, over to Bear Mountain Drive and the Bear Canyon connector trail, through Bear Creek Park, and back along various streets. It's a beautiful route that gets the blood pumping, with almost 500 feet of elevation gain. This route IS stroller friendly, and everyone is welcome. Schedule, Transit and Planning: We will meet at 8:00 am outside the Neptune Mountainering Cafe in the Table Mesa Shopping Center. The cafe opens at 7:00 am, so you can run in to get a warm drink or use the restroom before we walk, if you like. The shopping center is easily accessible by transit - take the SKIP bus down Broadway.

Notes:
~ We will begin walking at 8:05 so please arrive on time.
~ Be sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, sun protection and wear appropriate gear/clothing for the season.
~ Well-behaved and well-socialized dogs on 6' or shorter leashes are welcome.
